Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues Slaves and Masters quest bugged?

I ended up not giving the blood stone to Frederick and he scurried away. After finding his imp, I talked to him and actually convinced him to go find his master without any potion? But now I can't find neither the imp nor Frederick. They don't seem to be at the site where he fell and my quest marker is still there.

Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure the quest is bugged since I resolved free the Imp servant from Maradino's cave portion of the quest. Frederick is still there but dead. Perhaps there's a time limit on returning with a bloodstone. Either way the Frederick's Bloodstone quest is still open.
