<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/alien.gif" alt="" />I know, that I may sound too silly and too obvious for once, but:
Has anyone really tried the throwing ability of spears? - spear mastery or sth alike gives the ability.....how do you build such a character? which items can really be thrown? did it really work for anyone? I'm out of ideas on how to play DD so that I'm not...well...bored...a bit. I tried the suggestions on playing with no armor etc, but: what makes me really keen on trying it all from a scratch is this throwing...

Ah well...maybe this time I'll try to kill ALL npc's in the game...that would be sth I haven't done before...well, except the guys fighting in Easteregg...cos' they're unkillable...
BTW, who else is unkillable??? (and I don't mean the kill-and-leave-the-npc-intact-with-small-blood-stains-under-feet)

I tried to build a character with spear mastery and it worked very well in the first 20 levels, but afterwards I didn´t find spears which where realyy good enough.
Spear expertease increases the stats like the other combat masteries, but if you wan´t to throw the weapon it deserves mana. This can be a bit annoying.

There are a lot of NPC´s who can´t be killed in the game: The two soldiers at the bridge between Farmlands and road to Aleroth, Lord Janus in Stormfist castle, the Dwarfen King,....
