Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Anyone know the name/class of the new companions?

Anyone know? because i need to know so i can setup my 2 characters for my second playthrough so my main charachters compiment the skills of the new companions.

All ive heard is that its a warrior and a hunter from one source.

A hunter/ranger would make sense, since neither of the first two are anything like that. We also don't have a Sword and Shield companion nor a rogue.

Course there is no rule that says the new companions have to be completely different classes than the first two.

I hope one is a rogue as that may be the only way I play one as they just don't seem very viable to me so I wouldn't want to waste my PC's on one.

Nothing has been announced / mentioned / hinted at, that I've seen.

After reading the in game files it appears the 2 new companions are called:
Frank the Archer and Alfred the Fighter.

They could be changed, but it is likely least one of the new ones will be an archer.

Ye ive heard it was frank the archer and alfred the fighter which would make sense but as you said they may have changed the companions abit. Tbh the most likely would be rogue and archer as that would cover all the "archytype" classes.
