As stated in title, game crashes to desktop during the loading screen when I teleport to The End of Time. I can teleport to other locations without a problem as well as going through other loading screens. Going to older saves where I did not have this problem before, it now crashes on those as well. I have tried making a new profile after renaming the Divinity Original Sin folder and copying my saves over to the new profile and that did not solve the issue either. Neither has going to different areas or unlocking another room in the Homestead using the blood crystal I was holding on to.

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, any crash dumps, and your saved games. If file size is an issue, you can delete most of the saves from the zip; keep your most recent save, and include a couple that were working.

OK, so I sent the email to support however, the nature of the problem has changed since last night. Now the game no longer crashes to desktop and instead when I try to teleport to the homestead it crashes to the main menu and gives me "Save game load failed. Error code 200." Everything else still works fine however.

Sorry, I did forward that to someone to look at. I'll check what is going on with it...

OK, thank you, was just getting a little frustrated with a lack of response. I enjoy this game a lot and not being able to progress on quest lines is frustrating.

It occurs to me to ask you if you have reinstalled the game with your AV software temporarily disabled. If not, that is the first thing I would do.

I'm never wrong about anything, and so if you see an error in any of my posts you will know immediately that I did not write it...;)

I checked the saves here and had the same problem, so whatever caused it, it is in the save itself now.

No, it is most definitely in the save as I have done a fresh install of the game on a fresh install of windows, and it still happens.

I do appear to have fixed the issue, at least for now, I simply deleted the level cache for homestead within the save game file, it appears that having to re-create that has solved the issue.

That may cause other problems.

I would like to second this. After beating the first zone boss, my game crashes when teleporting to homestead or trying to zone to silverglen.

It has essentially made progressing in the game impossible.

So far I have had no issues from deleting the homestead level cache from within the save file itself, the game created a new file there and it has allowed me access.

Have you opened new portals and been able to access the existing ones ok, etc?
I don't know what exactly is stored in the file, but presumably if there wasn't anything there save-dependant, it wouldn't need to be in the save folder.

So after I deleted that file and went to the homestead, it went through and opened up all the new rooms that I should have had access to at that point, I have just recently used another bloodstone to open another room, but it does appear to have opened another portal, and I could access all the rooms that I have portals for.
