While playing D:OS, these issues struck me: Gold isn't party-based: very annoying when making repairs, since everyone needs some gold, or one characters needs to get all the equipment that needs to be repaired. Switching between characters while trading cancels the offer: annoying when skimming through inventories. Switching between characters and comparing items, still only makes the equipment of the talk-initiating character pop up for comparison. Again, this makes trading a bother. Gold offered should allow you to type the exact amount instead of using the slider. Faster & more accurate.
None of these are gamebreaking, but they are a severe annoyance.

I do not see it as an issue, you soon drown in money. Give every "side" character once a few thousand gold and you should be fine for the rest of the game.
I have all the stuff I want to sell on one character, this makes selling easy: Nothing on everyone else, everything on this one.

It's true. At the end of my playthrough in the last couple of days, I tried to get rid of my money by buying all the legendaries and crafting stuff I could get my hands on, just because I could. I ended up with 100k gold more than when I started doing that.
As for the gold slider, I agree entirely. It is incredibly awkward to offer a specific amount of gold with the current system.

It's annoying in the beginning and IMO, a design oversight, rather than a "feature". Initially, this is one of the things that put me off getting into the game.

I'm not sure if they've fixed it or not, but a while back I noticed a bug regarding vendor repairs of equipment and henchmen (possibly companions and fellow SH, too, but I didn't confirm). I gave the necessary gold to my henchmen, and switched to them when trading to have their equipment repaired (this was before I added blacksmithing to my main SH). Their equipment was repaired, but the gold was deducted from the primary trader's supply, not from the henchmen.
Oddly, if they didn't have enough gold, then it wouldn't permit the repair; but when the repair was performed, it wouldn't pull from their supply, but rather from the one who initiated the trade.
I should do some more testing and see if this is still the case.
