So this is my third try in building the same map, my two last tries failed after the editor CTD every time I tried to open them, but after the latest patch it seemed to be running smoothly.
But then I made the mistake of pressing the icon with the sleeping/happy yellow fella in the upper left corner, which transitions the level into game mode. Which in my case consisted of a black screen with a skill bar at the bottom. "Cool, this will probably come in handy when I starts to populate my level with characters and place a AI-grid" I thought. Now when I opens the level it starts in black and most options is grayed out, I have to press the "yellow devil" button so it goes to the black screen with the skill bar and then press the same button again then it goes back to the normal editor mode.
Next problem is that I have place houses(rectangular walls) in the town I am building for my level, but now here is the weird part. When I open the level only less than half of them are there technically, I can interact with them, and they display the "W" letter above them, the rest of them appears visually on the level but I can't interact with them, no deleting or anything, they don't even display the "W" letter above them or shows in the "Wall folder".
I could just build some new walls at the exact same spots, where the "only-visual" walls are. But I have a feeling that it would just be an excuse for the editor to perma-crash the level saying "Remember the weird wall problem that you had a month ago, well now its back to bite your ass, say goodbye to a months worth of work on your level".
There is one note that I think might could have something to do with the problem. When I was creating my level I made a town and placed a wall around it using the "1m_stoneWall_A" model, which I named "Shity Wall" in the wall folder. I somehow deleted it by mistake and saved my progress on the level.
Now when I opens the level it says in the MessagePanel: "Invalid Tile Returned, Shity Wall in the file c:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/divinity - original Sin/ Data/Mods/(then the name of my mod and its given code)".
Another message says "the object reference not set to an instance of an object" well it's in my native tongue but I think this is the right translation.
The last one says" The level (insert name) is not in the translated string table! Please add it to the localization" ?!
If anyone has any clue on what I am talking about, please write here.
Thanks in advance.
