Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Magic mirror won't disappear

I have spoken to Otho and Goemoe and have the magic mirror and the gem. I know I have to throw the mirror in a pool and, when it disappears, throw the gem in to create two gems. But -- I can't get the mirror to disappear!!! It just sits on top of the water!! Have I missed something?

try a different pool of water. there is one just south of Goemoe's house..

Use the pool SE of Goemoes house. This is deep enough.
