Better late than never. Here is part 4. Which is also the last part, but not the last feature <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

The other is that the game is more linear and thus reduces the complexity.

This one sentence I really don't like...

Inside an act the game is not so linear. But once you finished an act you can't go back. So any quests that are still open will not be solved anymore. The starting part of the first act is the most linear one of the 4. It is intentionally done like that to guide the beginning player.
Within the other three acts the game is less linear.
It's not that bad in my opinion, it certainly reduces the chance of having failed quests.

A bit of linearity is good. It keeps the story flowing. I remember DAD said some time ago that the actual storyline for Divine Divinity is only about 10 hours long. It was the abbundance of side quests that filled that game out. I'd be happier if more of the quests were part of the story.

I'd be happier to have that game in my hot little hands! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

thanks myrthos, for the 4 part features. i enjoyed it.

combat certainly changes a bit & i hope this translates to more fun. & character development which makes one choose carefully & painfully who will get the points; main characters or the summoning doll(s)?

very nice. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />
