Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Help/Tips/Tricks Enemy casts spell {E} - whats that mean?

Hi all, new to the game and the forums. Loving it so far.

One question: frequently in the combat log you'll see:

(Enemy) casts (spell) {E}

what does the {E} mean? I can't seem to make any sense of it.

The {E} means that it's the Enemy version of the skill. Generally this means that the skill's level scaled with the enemy's level, but may have other different aspects as well.

For every spell you use in the game, there is a duplicate that is only for your enemies. Just saying ^^
