Hi, I've got a problem with this quest, when i go to the place where i would have to dig to find the barrier removal spell, there isn't nothing to dig, is this maybe a problem about perception?

did you actually get to the place? it's not in the barrier area; you need to explore nearby areas. high perception definitely will help, if you find the place.

It took me several tries to find it. I think perception is a significant factor.

if you're sure of the spot, then your perception is too low; can't remember exactly how much you need, maybe 7-8, that's not very steep.
