I have ended DD many times, played with all charaters, but now i thinked In game are so many almost similar skills like < freeze, energy cage, witherin curse, life leech, stun & deadthblow > What's there similar? One thing - if enemy has plenty spiritual resistance then there is no use for all these skills. But if he haven't? Then there is no need for for all these spells. You can can freeze enemy and hit him by a weapon or a magic. Also some of these spells make things bit easier (like stun, life leech & deathblow) but however who will use energy cage if it's easier & safer to freeze and then hit? And what is need for two same spells witherin curse and curse? Only difrence is that curse can be cast on anyone but witherin curse only on monsters with no or little spiritual resistance. It will be more interesting if all skill woud be based on all resistance tips, not only on spiritual resist.

Indeed, the skill system in was a bit messy but it was fun to experiment with any way.

Fortunately, in the skill system is more tenable and also combinational as I understood from reviews.

One thing though, is that any character being “resistant” to something does not mean that it should be ultimately immune to it, but rather that it causes less damage.

At times I find an enemy being completely immune to everything and only resistant to a spell or a weapon that I have mastered to be the only way to defeat that enemy.

Of course you are correct about the messy implementation of such effects in but that is taken care of now.

That's where the curse skills come in handy.
