About how long does day and night last? About how long does an hour last in real time?

From Total Time Playing;

"Leaving the game running for 25 minutes, just over 14 hours passed in the game. This works out to about 42.5 real minutes per game day."

So, does that mean that both day and night lasts for 21.25 (42.5/2) minutes?

As far as I recall day and night were about equal length, but I never timed either or paid much attention to that.
