Hi dddffd!
It's interesting to see someone else giving this little game a go. Let me know what you think of it.
The spells you can get at the start are very limited. (Hell, I had to call tech-support just to find out how to get spells!) You need to get to level 2 (or 4?) as a Mage before the teacher will train you further. As for the Expert training, I still haven't got his faith at level 8. But then, I haven't got enough gold to purchase out all the other training he has to offer either. To rise as a mage, you have to work pretty consistently. It's far easier to rise as a Warrior, but then you limit your training. I suggest making sure the temple of magic god (can't remember his name) is on your trade route. By just praying there, you can replenish your mana, along with receiving grace to replenish it further at will.
You can learn the Trading skill to increase the size of your bag. Unless you go to another world, you'll need to be more of a Mage first.
Luxury affects prices, people's attitudes, and leniency (in terms of taxes). Basically, it makes your life just a little bit easier.
You can only have five side quests. If you don't intend on visiting particular towns, just make sure you never accept any of those quests.
Let us know if you have any more problems. I never got very far into the game. It was a bit too slow for me and other interesting things came along. Enjoy!
