ok I'm in the room with the Cyclospe eye doing the quest for the warriors guild, and when I take the eye and leave the room BAM my comoputer hangs and says it had the error, Whats going on <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> (I tried this several times)
If practice makes perfect, and nobody is perfect, why practice?

Are you sure the CD-ROM is in the drive ?

Have you tryed to use the teleporter stones to leave the Room? The same problem?

Was your quest log updated, etc when you picked up the eye, and everything appeared normal until you tried leaving the room?

I haven't tried using the teleporters.
I have the CD in my rom.
everything is fine when I pick up the eye I tried not picking up the eye and leaving the room didn't work, tried leaving the room lots of tiems without the eye.
If practice makes perfect, and nobody is perfect, why practice?

and yes my log is updated I have the quest, strange thing though few days ago I was doing it and I could leave the room just fine, talked to the guy and then it crashed and its been doing that since, could installing three more games on my computer change anything in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />?

Please check if you have an error.txt file in your Divinity Folder. If yes, please post what it says there.
Also take a look at your "external memory file" [I guess that´s not the correct name] (For Barnabus: Auslagerungsdatei). Let windows take care of it. It could be too small. Divinity sometimes needs a GB here.
Edit: Hellfighter just told me that it is the swap file (respectively page file)

I get the following error:
Appname: Div.exe Appver: 1.0.0.34 Modname: slash3.dll Modver: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00010a11
In the standard Windows Error Reporting dialogue.
There isn't anything in error.txt because it crashes hard and fast.

Ok, I don´t know waht this exactely means but maybe the others can find out.
In the mean time save your savegames and reinstall <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />

WOOT!!!! it works now! I didn't do anything though tried a total of 30 times 15leaving the room without the eye and 15 with the eye but this time it works <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> now I can keep playing it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />
