How can I restore Marias reputation?

1- You have to visit Maria in the poor area and talk to her.
2- You have to go to Malcom's house to find the financial records (on the top of his bedroom cupboard)
3- You have to get this book and talk to Malcom.
4- You have to give the book to Trevor the guild master. Then you will become a member of the Merchant guild.
4- After you have restored Maria's reputation, report this to her.

The door to his bedroom shouldn't be locked, that I recall.

There are a few thing's you have to do for Marias Reputation, but it's very worth it being able to buy the house.. I did It both times I played the game. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />
