lynn said that she was going to give me my title and then put my site on the fan site page then she was going to go to bed...she did my title but not the site...i know i am in patient so i guess i'll have to wait...sorry if i offended you lynn...

why do you care about titles so much?

this is what I suggest that you put on your site in order to protect the copywrite of Larian Studios

" All information on this fansite is the copywrited property of Larian Studios"

and I hope that you have gotten Kiyas permission to mention her name and to link to her site, if not please contact her my pm.

Even tho I have a fancy title I would have made a fan site because of how much I like the game, Larian Studios and their forum

I disagree. First of all my fansite covers more games than Divinity so that statement would be incorrect. But even if it wasn't, the walkthroughs on my site for Divinity are not copyrighted property of Larian Studios. Nor is many other of the content that is available there. If it's copyrighted at all it's copyrighted by me or whoever else created the information. It would be the same as saying that a strategy guide that is made by company X is the copyrighted property of Larian Studios, which is not the case. It's the property of the publisher.
What is copyrighted probably is the artwork, screenshots and animations.
Although I'm not sure about the screenshots as when they are made by me, then the content is unique in a sense.

So in short a better statement would be:
"Some information on this fansite is the copyrighted property of Larian Studios"

In my opinion creating a Fun Site is because you like something and you want to show it to more people. It is also a nice way to have fun and comunicate with other people. I certainly don't think that it should be made for titles. After all titles have no importance here. Everybody here likes (or dislikes) someone for what they write and how they behave and not for their titles. If I knew how to make a fan site, I sure would do it for my pleasure and not for gaining a title from Larians.

Lynn must be very busy at the moment. Give her a brake. After all it is not polite to create a whole new thread just to tell us that she fell asleep....

And even with the screenshots I agree with him : Am I not the one who makes them ? Isn't it possible to produce screenshots in a way that the developers cannot forsee, specil moments ans such ?
