hey penumbra/mysteek/baal/australian dude,

australia is a beautiful country. with a lot of wonderful places to go to for fun. ask your dad to bring u out to a park or something & play some games with him. football, softball, or just jogging, inline skating, .... .

u're still young & u should enjoy being young outdoor. it's a lot healthier. & since u can only be online for a limited time in a week, it's good for u. don't get stuck in front of the computer the whole day.

just for your info, all of us don't exactly sit in front of our computers the whole day. kiya's a librarian, i'm a lab administrator, shyon's a web designer, morbo's a student, ..... & so on.

we all have lives out there. i have my cats to entertain me. i go for nature walks. sometimes a dip in a forest pool in the weekends. or help my mom & dad with gardening & house chores. & of course i love books.

if u ever get bored, try helping your mom or dad. it helps a lot in making a person better. trust me, i can take care of the house at your age while most of my friends don't know how to hold a broom. before u say that it's a stupid idea or that it's boring, try it out first.

maybe u can tell us what's your hobby? other than computer games.

You are welcome to join in. This forum is a nice place. Janggut is right though. Try to take advantage of your liberty to go out and have some fun while you can. When you get older and have a job it will be difficult to go out whenever you want. Have some fun outdoors and visit this place whenever you feel like it.

You will be a great dad you know? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

And just be careful : Penumbra is (at least in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> ) a female name (if you are male ) ... Make sure to explain why you've chosen this name. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

hey hey hey, what's this about me being somebody's dad? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" />

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

we all go through quite a lot as we live day by day, ... so on & so forth. let's not say that i'm wise & all that. all of us ate salt (adapted from a chinese idiom, so it's deep) & we know better. i guess it's sort of a responsibility to help a young person one way or another to help him/her through life.

just being human. after all, despite humankind's penchant for evil, we are also capable of good. don't u think so?

so let's encourage one another & make this world a better place. i've made a move. it's your turn now.

Hey Janggut I am not offended at all! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
When I read your joke, I re-read my post too and it seemed to me that someone who doesn´t know me (and can not hear my voice tone) could think that it was sarcasm so in a way I wanted to explain. In any case I think I know you a bit and I know that you could never offend me in any way.

actually i'm more of a shaggy dude (refer to shaggy in scooby doo. yucks!) which looks a lot like some homeless loafers u see in back alleys. i'm so lazy when it comes to shaving.

but when i do clean my face up, people often mistaken me for a teenager. under age even! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> that shows how immature my face can be. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Luc being a lovely Greek girl, that may not have been the wisest statement today <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
