when the orcs shoot at me i can see the arrows, but when I try and use my crossbow;i see nothing. (?) I am a warrior and I have crossbow expertise to the second level...how do you use ranged weapons ? I have seen no place to buy bolts(that are like arrows for the bow). I must be doing something wrong.any help appreciated, thxs rev.

for bows and crossbow you do not need to buy arrows or bolts, you can just use them and they will shoot out arrows and bolts. To use them just click on a monster and the bow or crossbow will automactically shoot at it until it dies. You can also use the Ctrl to help you target a monster

also the arrows and bolts aren't the easiest things to see, so don't worry as long as you can see your enemy getting hurt its workin <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Crossbow expertise I am told does not work properly. It is better to use Bow expertise. You can use this editor to change it over to bow if you like.
