My Steam version is doing the exact same thing. I can only assume that Larian screwed something up and we'll be getting a fix for it soon, hopefully today.

I have the Divinity Original Sin Digital Collector's Edition. I also have access to both machines so I checked it out. The primary machine does not list Wolgraff And Bairdotr as a DLC, but it lists all the other ones and they are installed. On the machine with the gifted version there are only one DLC: The Wolgraff And Bairdotr which is installed. When I start the game on the Primary machine, the Source Hunter DLC Pack is enabled, but the Bear and the Burglar DLC is not. On the machine with the gifted version it is the opposite: The Source Hunter DLC Pack is disabled, and the Bear and the Burglar DLC is enabled.

So I guess the conclusion is that for the Divinity Original Sin Digital Collector's Edition (on Steam), the new DLC only works on the machine with the gifted copy.

Got DOS Collector Edition too and can't activate new DLC. Can't check on the gifted one because the owner isn't availeable now. But for sure on the original I can't check the DLC.

So... if I have already downloaded the DLC and it is showing as selected, does that mean the new characters will show up now? Or do I need to start over yet again? (I've been assuming I can meet the new companions at the King Crab. If that's not the case, then maybe I just haven't discovered them yet...?)

I think you'll need to restart if the DLC wasn't active when you started the game.
The archer should be near the legion headquarters, while the rogue can be found under the wishing well just outside of town, accessible from a tunnel in town.

I have the first new character in game visible (Bairdotr) but i can't interact with her in anyway (i can teleport her out of the jail but this does nothing). Also i can't talk to the guards - they just continually loop thru their dialogues. (I haven't got up to where the 2nd new character appears yet).

any thoughts?

- sorry playing through on lone wolf mod - maybe that is the problem?

I'm trying to troubleshoot a slightly different issue, no companions here at all (with lonewolf + a couple other minor tweaks). Is your game modified in any other way?

It seems the new companions aren't very mod-friendly frown

Edit: I'd love to hear from more people on this though. I've been holding off to see if there is some consensus or easy resolution to these mod/compansion issues (I've seen quite a few cases cited across various threads).

If a better solution doesn't surface, one thing I've considered is to only use unpackaged mods which can be implemented mid-save file; then having two versions of game folders, one modded, and one vanilla. That way I could start games with the vanilla, recruit the companion(s) I want, and then try to add tweaks later.

Obviously that wouldn't work for all mods though.

Edit2:
So far, I've checked:

#1
Rhidian's Lone Wolf + Move speed

Companions not present, Bair's weapons present, Guards non-responsive

#2
Documents/Larian cleared + Move speed

Still no companions, Guards now responsive

Next step is to get my files back to vanilla and try again wink

Edit3:
The (updated) move speed mod now works.
