When I speak to Leandra in the final area, I don't seem to have any options to repair the soul forge. The last entry in the soul forge quest, which is complete, is that I found the soul forge repair spell on Cassandra's body. However, I don't seem to have any such spell in my inventory, and Leandra doesn't give any dialog options to repair anything, and sends everyone on their way. The last entry in the Source Hunter's Journey is then that Leandra was past redemption and we have to fight her.

Did I somehow lose the spell by accident, or did I miss something?

And how important is this anyway? So far I seem to be dying in the battle with the Trife and his death knights, and I am at almost level 22. Is there a good strategy to beat them?

Itｴs unimportant. For the fight - stun, freeze, trip, knockdown, mute, blind. Crowd control, crowd control and again crowd control.

If you have the spell in your inventory, the last dialogue at the entrance to the First Garden will give you an option to forgive her and remake the soul forge. You can still choose not to even if you have the spell.

The only effect this has on the game is that if you repair the soul forge, Leandra and her death knights will be absent from the two final battles, making the fight with Trife particularly easy.

Looks like I must have somehow lost the spell, aargh. I will keep trying to win the battle anyways rather than going all the way back to when I fought Cassandra! I can manage to kill Trife fairly easily but those !$@#!* death princes are a real pain.
