Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General missing dwarf?

Hi all <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> I've been playing <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> for about a month now and finished it once already. Awesome game <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
Anyway, I'm on my second time around and have now run into a problem that doesn't seem to want to resolve itself. Usually I can just read previous messages and find my answer. This time isn't so easy because there is no thread (that I saw) to answer my question.
The dwarf that is supposed to be in the Dwarven Bread Inn isn't there. I've gone off to do other things and checked back but he just won't show. There were no orcs outside and the scroll is not on the table like it's supposed to be (maybe he's angry with me for stealing it last game <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> )
Anyone have any ideas? I know I can play without it but that would make life alot easier later on in the game when I start to do the dwarf quest and the council of seven quest.

is there just a dog in there, have you visited the dwarven town before you came to the dwarven bread inn?

Just go to the Dwarven village and have a look into Mayor Gregor's house <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - Vulgar is correct => if you have been near/in this village Dwarf Krasnegarax has moved on and deposited the scroll there.

Yep, I had been to the village already. Then went back to the Inn and killed the dog. Of course as SOON as I asked about the scroll I went back to the village looking for the little hairy guy and went to raid the chests in the mayor's house and guess what I found on the table? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> Of course the scroll LOL.

Thanks - was fun making them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - without the gamers here on the forum (their questions AND others teaching me patiently all I wanted to know about screenies but was too anxious to ask) I'd still know nothing about this stuff <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />
