I just sold 30 health potions (medium), while still having 30 of those and roughly 35 large ones (some crafted with 2 small each) in the combined party inventory. Hunters Edge.

That, especially that, makes all foodstuff crafting moot. It simply makes no sense to bother with foodstuff if you are flooded with health potions.

And there is just one party setup justifying this amount - a no healers party. I admit I have a hard time to even imagine such a thing.

Potions were originally very hard to come by and people complained about it. Most didn't (want to) pick up on crafting foods to keep your team healthy. A potion is far more convenient to heal when heal spells are not available.

I'm not sure what can be done to make food worth spending time to craft without becoming too powerful. Adding hunger to the game would cause complaints of a slow down as well.

Even with spending one ability point, food still isn't worth investing in. Too much of an irritation to make. It is a shame making food in this game is "dead content" for the time being. Maybe we need a thread about improving food to be better then healing potions and make healing potions harder to find?

[Crafting 3] Large Healing Potion = Minor Healing Potion + Minor Healing Potion (Healing: +157)
[Crafting 2] Medium Healing Potion = Minor Healing Potion + Minor Healing Potion (Healing: +98)
[Crafting 1] Minor Healing Potion = Penny Bun Mushroom + Empty Potion Flask (Fun With Fluids I) (Healing: +52)

Dinner = Raw Meat + Mobile Kitchen (Strength: +1, Heals: +74)
Dinner = Fish + Mobile Kitchen (Strength: +1, Heals: +74)
Porridge = Wheat + Milk (Strength: +1, Heals: +18)
Pizza = Pizza Dough + Owen or Furnace (Crafting and Cooking with Maradino) (Constitution: +1, Speed: -1, Heals: +61)

Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?
