2 warriors and 2 mages. Up until now the game has been difficult in some parts, but not to the same extent. My warriors wear legendary outfits, have great armor and do great damage, but nobody has any Tenebrium resistance. One warrior blocks real well, but the other dies during early fight after being hit 3-4 times by the Death Knights!

Please give me some tips on how to get through this place - it seems IMPOSSIBLE... And yes, we do use the Anti-Death Knight spell, but it only lasts so much and doesn't prevent their attacks from being SO brutal!

Summon creatures that the death knights can attack instead of your heroes. Keep a good distance from them and take them out with ranged attacks.

Crowd control, crowd control and again crowd control. Prevent the death knights from striking. Lower resistances, willpower, body building. Stun, freeze, slow, knock down, blind. Even if all of your party do nothing else for the first 2 turns all is good.

Forget damage. First, second and third - disable. Then damage without retaliation.

I have more or less the same party set ups (with a ranger or a battlemage instead of a second warrior) and found the death knight fights quite easy.

Thorsten

^I agree with advice above. Buffs and debuffs with mages and damage with warriors.

Things like mass weakness or mass curse do wonders, making DK attacks much less deadly.

I would also try to position blocking warrior as a bait, so that other one without block is rarely attacked.

In my playthrough my shield expert has 80% block rating and he would be a real sponge for DK attacks.

If really desperate, give good shield to other warrior too, even if he is two-handler expert. This would reduce DPS to hurt those DK, so this should only be used as last resort.

Man I feel like my warriors were not properly handled... At this point in the game I only do 250pts max damage with one-handed + shield warrior, and 350pts max damage with two-hand expert warrior...

That does seem a bit low. The unbuffed damage range for my 2H warrior is 403-806 (227-455 from weapon) at L17. I get a 70% increase from 7 Tenebrium and an additional 15% increase from 4+ Leadership from my mage. I'm currently using a crafted L17 2H axe.
