So, after having played with a friend of mine for over 30 hours we finally got around to the entrance to Evelyn's lab on the beach. Then we enter a classic conversation: "Okay, use the scroll." "Wait, I though YOU had the scroll?"

So, yeah, Evelyn's Reveal Spell was gone from my inventory. I'm pretty sure I haven't sold it (checked all my regular merchants, I only use those in the market place JUST for cases such as this) and I'm pretty dang sure I didn't just drop it on the floor somewhere. I've read that there are other people having this problem, too, but I haven't found a solution. I have no clue why the item disappeared (yes, we checked our bags and we know what the spell looks like), and frankly I don't care, I just don't want all of this work to be for nothing.

How can we go on?

What we have tried so far:
There is a savegame editor called mEdit which allows you to transfer objects from one savegame to the other. We tried a savegame that accompanied the editor and a new savegame which we played until we got the scroll. We managed to transfer the scroll, but it's only a piece of paper and doesn't actually do anything.
We also looked at this topic, but the Reveal Spell wasn't listed. (EDIT: Only noticed seconds ago, that that topic is about Divine Divinity)
We also searched through Evelyn's house for the spell once more, since the quest marker on the map points to it, but there was nothing there

We love this game and our characters very much and this bug is just killing us. Please help.

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, as well as your saved games. To reduce the file size, all but your latest can be deleted.
