HI everyone,
I think I have nearly finished the game, I have just found all the dragon armour and all of a sudden my lightning, fire, poison and spirit resistance is down to -524486. I have tried taking off all my armour and dropping everything out of my equipment bag but I still cannot build my resistance back up, has this happened to anyone else??? any and all advice would be very very welcom.
Thx

unfortunately I play the game on my lap top which has not got the internet so I'm not able to do this, I have found out what is causing the problem though it's my dragon breatplate, everytime I put it on it lowers my resistance even further, bummer huh.
Stupidly I have been quick saving for the last 6 days so I'll just have to go back and do it all again, Keeps bomming out on me too, which is obviously spoiling the enjoyment of the game. another bummer.
Anyway, Thx for the advice.

with a little bit of patience , let's ay 5 min or soo it can be on your laptop!

so you can not plug your laptop into your internetconnection?

just download the [color:"orange"] patch [/color] 10.3 Mb on a "fixt" Pc and
then split the file up in even parts with this program : hj split
like 1,4 Mb/part and copy them into your floppy disk.
and then copy it into your laptop,
then join the parts and you have the patch
Or you can burn it on a RW disk?
Or you can use a memory stick

aah, to manny choises,

why the demo? why not just download the patch on a freinds pc, or at a library or some place wth public internet access. then put the patch on a floppy then take it to your laptop.

Hi, I wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions about my resistance problems, I used ( or rather my husband did it for me) a memory stick, it was amazing I was able to start off were I finished from as it totaly sorted out the resistance problem and also there were a few quests that had not shown up as solved it also sorted out that too. So a real big thankyou to the bean and everyone else, I have now completed the game with your help.

So it returned to you the resistances you lost before the patch (as it took off -5 each time and assumed the result was your correct resistances)? After the patch my character never got her 30-40 res back

Try unequipping and re-equipping anything with a resistance bonus. Does that fix it, or do your resistances just go negative without the equipment?
If necessary, you could use iZakaroN's SaveEditor (or from Kiya's site, with description) to remove any points in Magic Barrier, then learn/re-learn the skill in the game, save and repeat as required.
