Can you add a patch that shows you an arrow to follow for every quest? Also can you add a voice pack with a single voice actor who reads all the text out loud or at least summarizes an npc's dialogue?

The writing is barely comprehensible half the time.

It's the year 2014, a lot of people have tons of hard drive space. There is no reason to not have an optional voice actor who narrates the quest for you.

If you can't do that, can you summarize the quest so I don't have to read a book just get to a quest? I enjoy everything else about this game except the incoherent writing that seems to wreak of redundant, useless chatter.

No. Quests can have multiple solutions, and are not designed to be run on rails, so can not have arrows to lead you through.

Limited resources restricted how much dialogue could be voice acted for the release (and only in English), let alone text in general. A single narrator might alleviate the need to have different voice actors for male and female characters (using lines from the same pool of responses for generic dialogue), but that is still a lot of text. Also, it misses the point of the game design.

The gameplay is amazing. I'd like to see larian studios make a game just like this one minus all the reading.

For examlpe there was this huge orc I met outside of town. There was so much reading that I didn't bother to read any of it. When I went to loot the hole next to him he attacked.

Perhaps you could show a warning or something for people who skip all the reading.

"warning this npc will attack if you loot this", etc.

Actually you know what, forget it. I just uninstalled this game. I really wish I could get a refund. The reading ruins everything.
