Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Help/Tips/Tricks Armor right above my character in the status bar

I recently started playing this game and after playing for a few hours, this Armor appeared right above my character's avatar in the status bar and I'm not sure what it does.

At first it only appeared on Scarlett, and now Roderic has this Armor image too.

The sword on the armor is yellow while everything else is white.

Does anyone know what it does?

It means the yellow part is damaged and should be repaired soon.

It will also indicate when equipment is broken by showing it in red.

How exactly do I repair weapons?

Two methods: You need a repair hammer and someone with a point into Blacksmithing to repair the items, or NPC's can do it for a fee.
