Okay what am I not doing right?

I found the magic mirror in Aleroth. I got the one healing (green)emerald from the fountain (at least I think it is). I read and brought the book on the Magic mirror with me to the pond.

I throw the mirror in the pond and it disappears. I then throw the emerald in but nothing happens. I still have one gem...?

Not the emersld. You need the onlly healing gem in the game which is found in Aleroth. The lizardman will tell you where it is. Or just go to the fountain.

I think he has found the correct healing gem, and only misnamed it an emerald.

I think he's saying what color it is. Because he said its A healing Gem.

Make sure that its the right pond, the one directly south of the area doesn't work for me.

all the way south my goamam (lizzard dude. sp?)
works.

and i always try to throw right in themiddle, though it doesn't matter.

Remember that you have to place the mirror under the water, (meaning you can't see it) then you place the stone on top of it. The stone should then reproduce.
