I'm unable to complete "The Strongman" quest with Snorri.

I opened the Tomb, and Snorri spawned. Talked to him. He summoned the large object (glass orb). I broke it, and the shattered pieces remain on the floor. But didn't get credit. Snorri dialouge said something to the effect of "let me show you how is done", then did the action to break the now non-existent object.

And, now when I talk to him to restart the attempt, the object no longer appears for me to break.

Is there a fix for this? Or a workaround? All my saves are long since overwritten, as I'm coming back to this much later.

Very funny. The same gamebreaking bug. Again. I'm beginning to wonder whether the devs have QA.

Gamebreaking? It is a very minor side quest.

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, as well as your saved games. To reduce the file size, most of the saves can be deleted; keep your most recent save, and if you still have one before opening the tomb.
