I've been thoroughly enjoying Divinity so far of the little that I've managed to play, but I've had one odd question that I haven't found the answer to.

After making a Wizard and starting a campaign with friends using the 4 player co-op mod, there were substantially more shenanigans going on, and during a fight I originally decided to sit down for a bit of fun on a bench, and discovered much to my delight that it's possible to sit whilst casting, maintaining a great level of nonchalance that's rivaled only by my characters badassary as he hurls lightning bolts and fireballs with precise accuracy behind himself whilst not even taking the time to turn round or look, picture below for reference.

As you may have guessed by the title and previous paragraph, I now incorporated it in to my character that he's simply unable to cast unless he's studying the battlefield from the cosy retreat of a nice chair of perhaps a steadfast bench. Much to my own chagrin, it's proving quite difficult to locate a chair in most encounters, and I was just curious as to whether there might be an item in the game or a spell that offers me a personal, mobile resting place to oversee my needs in times of peril.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hah, this is great. Definitely needs to be a spell to summon a chair :P All I can suggest is you find some unowned chairs and move them around with you all the time. I believe most chairs aren't bolted down or anything, but not sure about benches. With telekenisis, you can throw them pretty far I imagine. Unfortunately, you're not going to be able to take them to other zones, and they'll probably get destroyed by area of effect damage pretty fast, so your best bet might be to go in the editor and place a number of indestructible chairs here and there. I assume you've beat the game before, so it won't be spoiling anything? :P Of course, then your co-op mates and you are all going to have to add that mod to your game, which would be kind of a pain just so you could sit in a chair for battle.

Ahh for some stupid reason I didn't think of just slowly moving along throwing a chair in front of me. Thank you Baardvark!

I have assembled a small image album showing some of the exploits so far of using this methodology:

It's quite time consuming and I'm pretty sure the others hate me, but the legacy will continue!
