I have found barrels of tea underneath the healers house, but i am unsure of their signifcance or what to do with them, if anything...

They can be used to kill the talking tree in the dark forest. Make sure the lid on the barrel is closed before picking it up.

Complete both quests the talking tree is associated with before killing it, though.

Hi Toya, the barrels are hidden in Verdistis. Talk to the healer in Verdistis, maybe he can give you helpful Information concerning Buad and his tea... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
