Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Janus missing in Stormfist Castle

After Janus told the hero to meet him in his room. Janus is not in his room or any place in the castle. Actually my brother experienced this problem when he is playing and now he gave up coz obviously there is nothing more to do (he didn't saved before entering the castle). I don't know whether any other people experienced this or whether it has been discussed in the forum,coz i am new here. So what do you guys think?
PS:the game rawks..

Try walking around the room close to the walls; sometimes Janus hides. When I first went to his room there didn't look like anyone was there, so I clicked on the chest to loot it. Just as I got close Janus stepped away from the wall, where he had not been visible before.

yes Janus loves to hug the walls and disappear into rooms where
he wasn't before.....keep looking close to the walls, sometimes
you have to be right next to him before he'll appear! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

the sword in the chest is useless but its good for gold, just a tip...
