Larian Studios Forums General Chat Chat (Anything) windows printer -samba

i already configured the samba server.
The situation.

Linux machine(no local printer) - trying to looking for a windows(machine) printer.

Windows machine - local printer.

So, when i sent the windows machine ip - ok
When i sent the linux system looking for shared printers - ok.
When i sent the test remote access smb - i got this message:

Failed conection and you have specified a wrong printer spooler or the printer is not conected.

But when i sent the lpd remote printer - everything goes ok - but just with ASCII format - with graphic and word and other aplications is not compatible.

Some sugestions?

have you tried it with cups?
apt-get install cupsys

we are using cups to linux printers but not to the windows printers.
