Hm ? I decided not to take part. It's nice, but I have too few friends here to play Chess with. Also they all live several Kilometers from me, so an every-day-meeting is not very likely.

Stay away from that cult I lost a brother to that cult

btw I entered the contest. But after carefull thinking (read as: hours after the mail had been sent) I concluded that theire are in fact 3 cults in (yes 3 count them). Since I only put one cult in my answer, does this mean I lost?

The ruins were easy enough to decipher, so I assume they are just looking for the primary cult.
So what's the third cult, after the main one and the guys outside Nericon's garden?

I answer the "main cult", The second one is like you said the Nericon cult and the third one is when you want to become a member of the Warrior's Guild.

The second test
Game Information: I must go and find the Heart of the Dragon, which
can be found in an ancient castle nearby. A cult of Dragon
worshippers protects it.

I don't consider a Guild as a Cult , although I feel fairly pleased and honoured that people are worshipping me.

Wasn't that the main cult in the castle, though? I am pretty sure another NPC talked about the castle in connection with the main cult (with which the other dragon riders in the game were associated).

i dont understand how they will pick the winner. are they just gonna put everyone with a right answer into a hat and pull one out? or was it the first person to answer correctly?

I assume it would be random draw. If it was the first correct answer, they wouldn't need to leave the contest open for a couple weeks.

they were only easy for everyone else, i could not have read them to save my life. I guess that means no chance for me to win. Oh wait, i have a guess.

Take another look. All of the ruins are a deformation or modification of standard characters, some more obvious than others. The 'E' is easily recognizable, as is the 'O' and 'U'. The triangular ruin looks like a 'D', the one on the end looks like a 'Y'. With that you should have a fair guess at the last two words. With the known letters and a bit of pattern recognition, you should be able to fill in the rest.
Oh yes, and the answer to the question should help as well.

To bad all the runes are not known. I still miss 4 letters. I've created a rune font to write letters but I can't have words with J Q X Z in them.

Remember : There was a discussion with Kiya on the runes , one of the last where she participated in ( i think). Use the search function, because I don't remember the actual place - it was in the corner , and probably about the box cover, but I'm not sure.

I had a slight translation problem the first time. I misinterperated the 'L' in CULT as an 'N'. Oops. Mind you, that would have made for an ever easier answer! Janus!
