Is there a max lvl in DD like in diablo2 or U can just lvl-up forever??

Well, not really; I mean there is not really an maximum of levels you can reach; however, there are a few points :

- Through bugs some people have seen several hundred levels in the very first time of this game (without any patches or so; as far as my memory can recall it)

- the "Experience bomb" can boost through giving more experience poins than normally given

- at a certain level weaker creatures don't give experience points anymore (rats, rabbits, snakes)

- therefore the level-area around which most people end the game is about 50 or so.

As stated above certain creatures stop giving points once you reach a certain level .
I think 50 is just about as high as you can go if you solve all quests and kill everything .
I got up to 49 and a half because I stopped trying to kill everything at the final level , I was so strong nothing could stop me .

In Dungeon Siege you could start a new game with the same character and continue leveling up on a harder difficulty ,although it took forever to go up one more level even on the hardest difficulty setting .

I met one guy once when I was working in a computer game store. He was boasting about how much he had played Diablo. All three characters were at level 99 and the only monster that gave experience was Diablo himself.
