as per topic, any way i can reverse my game version without ruining anything including my current save?

the recent patch 1.0.251 introduced a change in the tenebrium dmg boost which i find to be really ridiculous, they should have fixed that sort of bs before releasing the game, doing that has really ruined the game for me after investing so much time into the game, i just want to unwind during the weekend, and now my weekend is ruined because of the stupid patch.

you see, initially i thought it was really retarded, that they made tenebrium specific ability skill to require points for dmg boost. that made my initial weapon switch to tenebrium gears really frustrating too, it made them weak. but after a while i gave in, and just respec my folks and shifted points towards tenebrium, tedious process too, because they remove all my skills, and being ocd i have to rearrange everything, blardy annoying i must say. (and no i didnt even know how unimportant the stupid tenebrium weapons were, i switched it all because the imp told me they were vital in fighting whatever demons thats attacking homestead, and much to my annoyance they werent important as they cant do a single flipping damage to those demons, what is up with that anyway?)

so yeah i invested points in tenebrium, because it was easy to make weapons into tenebrium, with just a teneberium bar, i thought it was fine, and just pushed on with the game. and at least switching over to pure tenebrium dmg boost, my characters were enjoying ability to use whatever weapons and still get benefit (maybe this is what they wanted to balance)

but now they just have to do the ungodly update that just messed things up for me just when im near end game (at least i think i am), now i have a pathetic team with low weapon dmg because they wanted to "balance" things. and no way in hell im going to respec again. uber frustration, weekend gone, what did i do to deserve this. seriously never have i been more pissed that i have to vent on the internet.

tldr=new patch is stupid, i need help reversing version if not a quick way to redistribute my ability points without losing all my spells, help please

There is no way to revert to an earlier version in Steam; you need to have made a backup of the game before the update (either through Steam or by copying the install folder to another location), or have paused the update download, to delay it.

Tenebrium is needed to deal with the attack on the homestead, but will not help with the demons there directly.
