So I uninstalled the "Divinity Engine" today since I would not start at all anymore and installed the latest version I found on GOG.

Right after starting it I get "Tried to write on protected memory" errors. And when I try to load my mod the editor crashes. EVERY SINGLE TIME! Probably because the editor doesn't find any data! As far as I know the paths shown below are the correct ones you are supposed to use.

At least I can create a new mod but the error never stop. A constant stream of scrolling red text.

I also can not exit the editor thanks to an unhandled exception. I have to end the process in the task manager.

Most expensive and biggest disappointment of 2014 and so far even of 2015.

There should be an update for the GOG version of the editor soon. There was a delay getting the editor update to them after the 1.0.252 game update.

So I looked into the log file and found:

Shouldn't a corrupt TOC also make playing the game impossible?

Your game is updated, but your editor isn't since they haven't released the GOG editor update yet. The editor is expecting a different, unupdated TOC, hence sayings it's corrupted.

Ok, could be but why does it look like I am the only having that problem? Everyone else not using the editor or not using the latest version of the game? Or are they using the Steam version?

Also still no update to the editor setup file. Larian should ask GOG what's going on.

Editor Setup file finally updated after contacting GOG directly.

Now I have lots errors that look like this:

"[02-03-2015 16:54:10:758][..\..\..\EyesOfAChild\Code\EoCShared\Shared\EoCGameObjectTemplate.cpp 297 eoc::EoCGameObjectTemplate::VerifyActions]: Object 'BOOK_RCP_Survivor7' has an invalid action - Book: 'RCP_Survivor7' is an invalid bookID"

and 4 errors that look like:

"[02-03-2015 16:54:16:202][C:\Jenkins\workspace\Repo\QA\LSProjects\LSFramework\Code\CoreLib\ObjectFactory.h 299 ls::ObjectFactory<class esv::AlignmentData>::Grow]: ObjectFactory (type Unknown) has grown bigger than the Maximum size (256 >= 192)"
