Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Cybu

Is it best to call the aid of commander Ralf or is it best to kill Cybu alone?
I'm only level 16, and Cybu alone would be hard enough, without those other guys helping him! I always get killed...
So do I call commander Ralf to help me, or do I wait untill I'm a higher level and come back to kill Cybu?

This is so weird btw, a friend of mine used to work at Larian Studios and guess what his name is indeed: Cybu. Well,actually that's short for his last name. But still,funny to kill a friend of mine (Ok,friend is a big word, but I know the guy in any case)

cybu isnt very tough to kill. best advice would be to save and try and try again. you always kill him later when you are level 30 or something. nothing in the game has to be done right away.

You only miss a little bit of experience by getting Commander Ralph first, so either way will work.

Write a list of names in Divine Divinity and then look them up in the member list here. The names in the game were taken from this forum! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Kiya, Raze, Barnabus, and another whose name I've forgotten (Sorry! It's only 'cos you use the German forums!) are in Beyond Divinity as well.

Cybu was indeed someone emplyed at Larian - that's how he went into the game. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> But I haven't heard anything of him for *ages*

They both got married last year,you knew that? I was at Dante's wedding.
Lately I only see them on the internet,not irl...
I used to know this guy "Tim" too, he has bèta tested the game. But I guess you don't know him then.

anyway,i'm going off topic here ;-)

hm,now that I've played the game till the end, I saw all the names. And Dante isn't the one I know. They only have the same nickname ;-)
(I already found it weird that the one I know would have worked at Larian, but he's a programmer too,so I wasn't totally sure)
