hey when i take the inventory files from one save game and put them in another. when i do this my items i swap over dont have any stats they just have the name and weight. did i forget an essential file for this or somthing? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

You forgot the "items.000". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

It would be safer to use the method in the Lost Items post to transfer potions, statuettes and other items without random stats. The inventory files keep track of items in chests as well as your backpack, so you could break quests in your new game by keeping an inventory file set from a different game.
