Did you make this one? If so, why did you make another one that looks just like the last one you made a few weeks ago?

Mind you, I have to wonder why Lews' keeps changing sites as well. I hate having to start from scratch every time...

I took a look at it, and it doesn't seem much different from the last one you made, "RPG Lair", the one that's still linked in your signature. RPG Lair is apparently the same site that Krull mentioned in another post, a site that he and "iZaKaRoN" are running. But this iZakaRoN has the same avatar as mysteek (and the same one that mysteek used under various names), and is running a site that was previously spammed to me via PM by mysteek. This can't be the same IZaKaRoN that put together the savegame editor, is it? Someone care to set me straight?
Regardless, what's the point of making another forum? We've already got a community here where we can talk about almost anything we want to.

i agree with the 2 posts before me. I only joined Lews's forum once, but since he changed, I didn't go to that one. I just stay here, cause you don't have to fix something that isn't broken. I don't get why you all guys want to make forums. And then make another one a few months later.
Is this some sort of competition?

Creating your own forums again and again is an "urge for power and control"

I can understand wanting your own forum: it's the experience of creating and managing it. I suppose they keep changing so that they have a clean slate, or perhaps a slate with more features. They need to realise that while it their pet project, we won't be chasing the pet around.

Don't get me wrong, kudos to all of you who have put in the time and effort! I just don't have enough time to visit everyone of them.

i was mysaelf mad at myself for making a new site. and i understand why people were fruastrated. but no body had gone to the site, and i needed to fix a problem with the colors. only way to do it was to remake it all.

and I am very sad several members such as you Merendious never returned.

This forum is so well "Established" with member numbers rocketing recently. If you start a forum it will take some time and effort to get it "Established" and you have to stick at it and listen to forum members views and keep the site interesting enough for members to keep returning.

Sorry Lews! I had trouble keeping up with where the site was. I've tried to get in on the latest one a bit lately. I'm not avoiding you, I'm just pressed for time. I'm glad to see that the forum's going well for you!

I'm more or less active in several forums, so I tend to lose track if I'm in too many forums at the same time. Hope you understand this.

Hahahaha!
Well, some of the forums have other orientations except Larian. Some of them, like Divine Devotion have funky engines and Lew's forum have Lews (Hey Lews! ), which is good advertizement...
Sadly, it's true that all those forums are kind of pointless since everyone finish by posting here anyway.
Though we (I) really (or not) appreciate (I think) your (at least some of you) effort (if available).

I've found that the other forums have a different dynamic because of the more specialised crowd. I think they're just a little slow which discourages people from visiting. And at the same time, those that go too fast discourage me too... (I'm a picky litle sod, aren't I!)

if u are a picky sod, then so am i. maybe worse!

still, i'm happy where i am now; in larian forum. mysteek, who are u targetting in that forum? not larian members as they already have their own forum. no point going to another forum saying the same things all over again.

if u are specialising in certain areas or topics in your forum, then go for it.

Too well, though I limit myself of late. For some reason Im still active here against all logic. Otherwise im active on the forum of whatever current game I am playing. I think maybe I stay here because I post in threads that relate to a wide variety of topics?

Sorry but I really didn't had the time to check it all, around that time I barely had time to check this forum. And after a while I forgot about your forum. And all what I need can I find here.
