It would be awesome if you could see whether or not you already have the recipe when you move the mouse over the recipe book. I can't remember which tomes of "Fun with Fluids" I have and which ones I don't. So you end up having to pick up and read every single recipe book. Really annoying.

It's a good idea. But at least for now, one thing you could do is open your journal to the recipes tab and see if the titles match.

Every book should indicate if it has been read. There's a reason that's one of the most popular Skyrim mods ever.

It would also help if we had an indicator to say what pages of each book were read, like "1/5 pages read."

Most books are only half a page. It's probably not worth it given that every single minor change has to go through Larian's QA process.

Agree, just knowing you already read it is plenty of help, the books are short.
