Wolgraf and Bairdotr are great, they have a soul. Could we have some more unique & juicy companions next time?

1. Dog
- everyone likes dogs. It grows-up by gaining levels and eating meat.(Larians engine knows how to resize objects :-] ) so start like a little fur ball finish like Baskerville's beast. Tend to pee on legionare's foots.
- skill set - Man-at-arms with some limited skills. Bonus to initiative, chance to hit, knock down. Battering ram skill base cooldown 4 turns.
- special: 1. Fear: on 5th level gets fear skill. It gets better level by level. 2. Meat requirement : Start sqeeking for raw meat after each 20% of a level xp. He will not level up without 5 pices of raw meat. e.g. reach 10% of xp. nothing. Reach 21% xp sqeeking/barking - gets meat - >>> quiet. Reach 41%xp sqeeking/barking - > gets meat - >>> quiet. and so on. If he dont get meat, he will barking/sqeeking. He wears belts only (He puts it around his neck). Transfer a piece of raw meat or fresh fish by trade window( better dialog window with cute animation) casts the light heal spell on him. Doesnt like vegetables - a funny animation. Like wooden branches plays around.

2. Imp
- that pinky thingy jumping around makes me gigle. Annoying like hell but produce great stuff right? He is runing from his previous master, you could let know previous master or help him run away. Or keep it in your service, in this case its possible that mighty demon find you one day.
- skill set - scoundrel, backstab. Bonus to dex, sneak, craft, blacksmith.
- special: He has weaker stats than any other companion, but can make a booosted item on every level. start conversation choose Imp factory dialog --> item trade follows. Give him an item, he will make it like +3 level higher numbers but keep same requirements. He can upgrade just one item per level. Any item Legendary included. It works only if he gets at least 70% of xp by adventuring, not sitting at pub(Homestead).

3. Orc lady
- there is an Orc lady in a library so I want my own green skin. Have you noticed such a great ass they have? :-o
- skill set - man-at-arms
- special - nasty romance with main character. Is the half-orc possible or just a myth? We will find it. Finaly, the lady orc requires a house with big fireplace. Very expensive experience, indeed.

4. Ghost in the shell
- you have a great shell in your inv where he lives, however he takes a companion slot when you rub it. He could retreat in the shell by himself if he feels non-comfortable,damaged or dead. He acts like righteous knight from the Public Security Keep No.9 a Source hunter's branch. His primary motivation is get released from source plagued shell. Do you help him and loose the friend?
- skill set - aero, hydro. Weatherproof, Lightning rod. Expert pickpocket skill level 6.Sneaking skill level 5.
Special- Cant wear real stuff (clothes, armor)or attack physically. (can be hit physically) You can trade with him. Any item given by trade is transferred to the ghost version, forever. Such items have weight 0, doesn't break, cant be upgraded, sold or put away. Ghost items can be disposed. You can access his inventory, put in and out real items, but he can hold only 5 weight.

4. Feel free to add your idea :-]
- one line for companion motivation. Character's main idea
- skill set - second line. Basic skill set and specific aproach
- special: this is the something which makes it unique and memorable.

Rgeo just amazing! Fantastic ideas's...I want em all! I do like Wolgraff and Bairdotr in preference to Madora and Jahan.

Dog or Wolf, great first choice and how about a tiny-dragon- like a Pseudo-dragon from D&D?

Yeah female orc... except for the tail, shame about the face as well!

Ghost/spirit/genie in a lamp or bottle is cool.

Whater Alfie and Ralphie are?

A dwarf or an Elf.

The Kickstarter suggested that companions would include a strange ghostly soldier guy, and a baby brain-sucker parasite. They were not in the final game. Stabbey sad. frown

I have squeezed more juice from ideas. Check it :-]
Feel free to add yours.
Just keep the same format please.
Baby brain sucker parasite?
Huh. Common, have you noticed that even swamp undead creatures are so cute in this game that you tend to get them home and have a babies together? :-]
Really. Did you listen crabs in the black cove? When I was crushing them with my hammer they were squeeking so badly that I tend to stop hurting them, rather hug them, feed them and rejoyce all toghter.

Rgeo...your weird...I like it. Its good.

But no, I had no desire to mate with anything in the swamp or any swamp. Crabs remind me of spiders and scorpions so crushing them, chopping them, burning, freezing, and shocking them feels good to me.

Um I am almost afraid to ask about a Pink Deathknight? Is that a female version of the Deathknight? I think I am falling in love with the idea, Pink, hot, cruel, with a sword and has a distinguished taste in red wine and paintings?

LOL thats hilarious....not sure how serious I can take some of this.

In Beyond Divinity there was a quest from an imp merchant to steal a box from another imp merchant, and bring it back still sealed. If you opened the box, your DK turned pink(ish) for the rest of the game (unless you reloaded).

What are you afraid of dear padawan?

Listen, put quality headphones on and listen the crabs. The sound they make if hurt them that is pure suffering.

There is one crab, friendly one on the beach, cool guy. I go there sometimes chat and listen sea waves.

Sounds interesting. She has a special version of Wind-Up toy skill. It makes a lovely teddy bear who explodes to hail of lovely soft feathers. Well, and massacre all around.

"Killin' you softly" is her motto.

Black skin.
The Leech talent.
Scythe sounds better for me.

I don't get the impression that more companions will be added to Original Sin, but perhaps this might inspire the devs for their other RPG's.

Really, you wanna know my deepest fear...Oh man nothing scares me but plenty of things frustrate and disgust me. OH WAIT! Spiders....yeah the size of a car! Or Jar Jer Binks getting his own movie. Um that one day we will learn to speak to whales and dolphins and realize that they all swear like drunken Marines.

OK well I joined the dark side long ago (its really not that dark actually, kinda more like dim). It really made sense I look great in black, the pay was good, good benefits, good hours, easy work.

Okay Spiders, Scorpions, camel spiders, ants, crabs.... anything with more than 4 legs is a BUG! AND its us vs them in the who-is-gonna-own-the-Universe-Game, the only good bug is a dead one!
They are not screaming in pain, they are taunting you!

The first teaching- is all pain comes from desire.

Or not, it sounds pretty good/wise/enlightened but doesnt really hold up in practice.

I am kinda sure that in the old days people thought other people were wise because they were so stupid and gullible, and did not do the research themselves.

So in other words nothing has changed.

Really? The floor heating was used in common houses 2300 years before today. Euro civilization needed 1500 years to reinvent.
