The only way the statue will talk to me is if I put an item in the left circle.. and says I need all three items. If I have all of them in my inventory I cannot click on the statue and the statue also doesn't talk to me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
I know that. I tried that to begin with. I cannot click on the statue and the statue doesn't talk to me unless I put any of the items out of my inventory which is when it says I need all 3.
i had some trouble with this once as well. i was standing in the circle but it wouldnt work. i just keep moving my ckaracter around the circle, going in and out and eventually it just triggered. so i guess just do as i did and keep clicking in the area of the circle and the statue will talk.
hopefully someone will come with a more high-tech solution.
If you opened any of the 4 tombs in the place of sacrifice, the statue will not talk to you (except maybe to say you need all three items). There is a book in the cursed abbey warning you not to disturb the guardians, but it is easy to find the tombs before the book. However, there is a;
