First of all, I am enjoying the game immensely. Now for the issue:
I picked up the letter from Charlene from a corpse near sparkmaster 5000. Only to go back to mayor Cecil's office to find Charlene missing. I haven't killed Charlene (as far as I am aware). Only Mayor Cecil on ground floor and Victoria on the first floor. Charlene apparently disappeared. Am I missing anything?

Just Charlene.

If you reload a save before looting Tom's body, is Charlene in the mayor's house?


You can email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS Analysis Tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, as well as your saved games. To reduce the file size, you can delete most of the saves from the zip; leave your latest save, and (if available) the most recent where Charlene is available and the oldest where she is not.

Saves can be zipped by right clicking the folder(s) and selecting Compress, in the folder:
~/Documents/Larian Studios/Divinity Original Sin/PlayerProfiles/<ProfileName>/Savegames

No, I do not get Charlene if I load a save just before looting Tom's body (it is a save I made just before fighting sparkmaster 5000). However, I do have a save game where Charlene is there, at an earlier stage in the game. I will send over the save files as suggested by you along with the report from analysis tool.

Charlene is in the library, standing at the top of the stairs, presumably obscured by your party when you checked.
