You can use one or more elemental essences to add resistance boosts to robes, or other cloth apparel (+5 to air, earth, fire or water, using the respective essence).
With cloth scraps and an anvil you can make boots, a needle and thread makes armour, a magic needle and thread makes robes or the Mysterious Fabric Dye makes a unique robe.
