Its quite good, the plot is a little incoherrent but it has one of the best combat engines Ive ever seen in a console style game. Most console style RPG's suffer from continuos random monster encounters, but in Grandia you can see every monster on screen and avoid them. Even better, you can actually sneak up on them and make a surprise attack which gives you intiative for the first round.

Very linear but then again this is the case with most console rpg,s.Although like one has said the battle system is excellent and refreshing.I can look past the linear aspect just for the battle system alone, also the only other thing i didnt really like is the game seemed alittle to easy.I dont think i ever had 1 game over but its been a while since i played it.Its not the best console rpg ever but solid nonetheless

Which is basically mean "I rule and everyone else here are n00bs. If I say it's sappy, then it's sappy, listen only to MEEEE!"
Some people build monuments, y'know, so it's not much of an accomplishement playing a couple of games more than everyone else.
What's the bloody point of listing dozens of Final Fantasy games you finished? You think people won't believe you otherwise?
Plus, who the hell cares?

Of course it's my opinion.

Make a new thread if you wanna talk about the number of RPGs you're played. The topic here is Grandia 2

ok, I've played Grandia 2 and here's what I think about the game:

-Combat is really great, really fast paced and fun to watch
-No real challenge in the game, I was game over once and that's cause I wasnt really prepared for the boss.
-Story is boring for a while but gets better at the end.
-Graphics were ok when I played, dont know if you'd like 'em now.

Overall: Not very original but has one of the combat system I've ever seen, the rest is pretty much like all other console RPGs

Kids, don't fight, you're making fun of yourselves.
It's like one of those reality shows: Who'll eat the most hamburgers/cockroaches/peanut butter sandwitches or who'll fart the first five lines from the "Gilligan's Island" theme song.

You can do it in two easy steps!
First: Buy eight dozens of Heinz "Deep Browned Beans"
Sencond: Lock the door and open the windows.
And Train-train-train!
Practice makes perfect!

The game isn't worth buying but the game is worth the experience......the memories.......so go out and rent the game from your local video rental store like me.....

I think the ending was the best too........on a side note i didn't like the red hair chick..I would have prefered a normal chick like in grandia 1....but doing that would have changed the plot...

This is SpArTa!! oh im sorry, I must have took a wrong turn..somewhere...(runs away)
