Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but I couldn't turn anything up with search.

My question is it worth to beat the game before the EE comes out. Why I ask is I heard that our saves won't transfer due the amount of new content. I have nearly 90 hours(completionist run) put into the game, and I would really hate to start all over... Ideas!?

Yes, especially since you are relatively close to the end, and the EE will not be released for another 3 or 4 months.

The EE will be a separate entry in your Steam or GOG library, so even if you have not finished your current game by then, you can continue with it even if you also install the EE and start a game in that.

I'm not too far into the game also I'm taking my good ole sweet time enjoying this masterpiece as it is so reminiscent of the original!

Well, according to Amazon, the game will be released 'somewhat' soon.
