So, in preparation for Polymorpher inevitably being chosen as the first backer-picked skill tree (it's okay if you disagree, I forgive you hug ), I'm curious what forms the community can come up with. They can be either serious suggestions or funny ones. It's up to you.

I'll start with a small list of ideas I've had so far:

1. Chicken - become a chicken. Possibly a random result of a polymorph spell failing.
2. Change Race - randomly switch to a different race (including enemy races, such as Orcs). As long as the spell lasts, the player is treated like a member of that race by non-party members.
3. Change Gender - switch genders. Gives access to dialogue and NPC reactions for that gender
4. Sheep - become a sheep, with a 20% chance of becoming a Weresheep instead. Sheep are terrible in combat, Weresheep are devastating.
5. Troll - become a large troll. You deal a massive amount of melee damage and have high armor but are slow and weak to spells.
6. Rock - turn into a large rock. You are immune to all damage (except possibly water spells), but cannot move or take actions.

That's really just scratching the surface. There's a ton of possibilities with this.

I like those. How about:

copy an opponent (excluding those more than a level above, unique creatures and bosses)

Those somehow reminds me of the Wild Mage in Baldur's Gate 2. Random effects FTW! Hm, maybe not for the WIN, but absolutely for the FUN. :p

Very cool ideas, indeed. I also like traditionel ones like animals (wolf, bear, cat).

Yeah this will defiantly be a fun addition to the game.

Think of all the possibility you can exploit or changes you can do on quests, but I may be going to far as it require allot more texts and dialogue options :P

For example change into a cat and get passed the guards or hide from players by changing into a rock. Though what Swen explained seems very awesome especially seeing your arms turn into tentacles or wings added to the characters and so on, this is defiantly a game changer.

Some of my ideas:

- Combat focused forms: Bear, Wolf, panther, etc. (more traditional druid like forms)
- Rat: can be used to sneak and/or get through a locked door by going under the door frame or using mouse holes.
- Bird: Can be used for safe scouting over areas and avoid combat. Great for forward scouting
