I've just finished my first and enjoyed it enormously. However I felt my Man-at-Arms was not as powerful as I would have liked. Since enemies rarely come to the party, I found ranged attacks worked best.

Would two Marksmen and two Mages be viable, or even one Marksmen and three Mages.

Thanks,

LS.

Yes, either would work. You can use summons if you do find a tank would be useful, and the teleport spell, or Tactical Retreat, etc, can help with opponents that get too close for comfort.

The Enhanced Edition will add new abilities, like dual wielding, and overhaul the skill system, including some new warrior skills. Release is expected about the end of October.

Thanks, Raze, I'll give that a try. I didn't know about the Enhanced Edition, it's good news. Will we have to buy the game again or just the patch that enhances it? I bought the game from GOG.

Thanks,
LS.

The EE will be free for everyone who owns D:OS, automatically added as a separate entry in their Steam or GOG library when it is released.

I'm having a problem with the pyramids. When I drop one and rift travel, the pyramid re-appears in my inventory at the other end! Am I doing this wrong?

That is by design.

If you want to prevent a pyramid from returning to your inventory, you can put it in a container, but since the pyramids were not designed to be able to teleport you between maps, they only check the coordinates of the other teleporter, not the map. If you leave a teleporter in one of the homestead chests, for example, and then use the other in Cyseal, it will teleport you near where the 2 drunk guards were before getting to town. Coordinates of a chest or NPC on one map could put a character out of the normal game area on a different map, or in the middle of a group of opponents, etc.

That is just crazy.
Very rare to find developers do this.
Big props.

I don't own the game (don't have a Windows machine anymore) so getting the EE for PS4.
