Hello ,

Div. Div. is a very cool game for me, and I`ma playing on the hard settings of difficulty , enjoing of nice soundtracks and lots of very good painted and funny characters landscapes building , units etc. .

But , some things start annoying me , especially exterior of my female warrior avatar. For first time , that`s was ok , but after several hours playing exterior like a dirty dancer in some damn disco , I think it`s should`t be with a hero-warrior with good reputation smile .

For short , how can I modify the textures of my hero?

thx, fo answers , sorry for a bad English .

Haven't you found any armour yet? The initial appearance should be covered once you get a breastplate and leggings, etc.

If you've looted everywhere in town, keep an eye out when exploring, and check with George periodically. NPCs restock every 10 or 15 minutes real time, depending on the NPC, though can hang on to things that you sell them, which stay at the top of their inventory list.

It is possible to switch to the appearance to one of the other player characters, though.

Some more hex offsets...

and maybe check out Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editor as a reference

First Thx to you for a quick answer , I barely thought that it`s take a long time ... But fortunuately I thought wrong. smile

I`ma only started to explore (and clean up from all monster) the world of DivDiv with a pretty placec and good atmosphery dungeons ,

but appearance of my char is make me feel riddiculious smile

Maybe a some program like a Texmod , but for a DirectX 6 (I am thimking that DivDiv running on that stuff) can do a some textures modification in the RAM indirect ???

I yah , DivDiv full of nice look visual detail , like Kitty the cat in the Trophies Menu , it`s make me feel some fairy tale or something , that is good for short saying. It`s rarely appear in the modern PC Role-Playing . And some piece of humor like a manuscript Dwarf about Dwarfs it`s good idea too smile .

But I had in mind that my char will be a trully clear warrior , so , like always it`s failed (I am 90% of RPG`s walking trought by a clear magy stuff characters ) , be`coze some tough monsters (like a Skeleton Guardian) killing my hero with one hit in meele fight . And that be`coz for a good reason on the hard difficulty the warrior need an Arballester sad .

And about the bity-bbit hexoboring cheaters stuff , nah - I am not a cheater , and and dont wonna replace my char with another, just wonna make some little appearance modification :P .

Regards, and sorry for the my bad English, again.

The game is 2D, so the characters have all hand drawn animations. That's why all large shields will look the same when equipped, for example, and the same for wooden and metal shields, and leather or plate armour, etc. Different equipment will change the appearance, but there is a limited set of animations for each character type.

It`s hard for me to make a straight explain of what I thinking on Eglish , but I dont mean nothing vs the graphics smile . I`ma enjoing of that nice look 2D stuff.

I`ma just dont , after some hours of playing strarted to bothering from my good reputation hero that is almost naked in bikini zone >_< . That is showed ont the screenshot. laugh I dont dont how it`s say , but a only that make feel me riddiculious.

Almost graphics is not worst that in Mechwarriors 1 , it`s not a opinion for me , especially if it has a some details and good painter works ^_^ .

P.S. I am dont having anythings wrongs vs a girls in the bikini stuff ^_^, but for good sake it`s a hero , the salvator and the restorator of the broken lands! laugh not a top model in the beach.

Something that bothers me as well, but not quite in the same way. There are NPC models that are quite nice that I would like to use to replace my character with. So far everything I tried has failed and I am stuck at the point where I tried countless stuff to access the character spritesheets to replace them manually. I would be able to easily, if the files weren't so dickishly encrypted.
